A Forgotten Brother

Unknown.jpeg

Matteo Teresi

Over 110 years ago, a Sicilian
lawyer, Matteo Teresi exiled himself from his
beloved island and lived the rest
of his life in Rochester, always
working to improve the life of the
Italian immigrant. He was a
proud lodge member.

At our March 14 meeting, brother Ed
Groszewski will give a presentation explaining
why Matteo left Sicily, the struggles he found
here, and his contributions to Italian-American
history and culture.
